Roadmaps are an important instrument in corporate planning. Especially in technology, product and strategy planning, companies can structure complex relationships by using Roadmapping techniques. Which content should be contained in a roadmap, who takes ownership and responsibility on a corporate level and which time horizon should be displayed in roadmaps?
Using the metaphor of a map, Roadmaps support planning tasks in a company. Above planning of single disciplines, roadmaps allow the interconnection of various planning levels, e.g. Products, Markets, R&D-Projects and competencies. The chronology is the common denominator of all Roadmaps. At the event “Roadmapping: Ticket to Corporate Success” various best practice companies report on the practical use of roadmaps as well as the creation and usage of roadmaps within enterprise networks. Latest research findings are presented, among them the results of the “Field Study Roadmapping”, conducted by the Fraunhofer IAO in cooperation with our partner TIM Consulting.
The participants learn about best practices within the usage of Roadmaps in business, get to know exciting real-life examples and the latest developments from research and have the opportunity to learn about Enterprise Software Solutions supporting corporate and innovation Roadmapping. In an interactive session, participants will have the opportunity to contribute their own questions and work based on current topics. The networking between a maximum of 70 participants will be the focus of the evening program.
