AI Innovation Made in Germany

AI has reached the top of the political and economic agenda in Germany. The KI Bundesverband e. V. (Federal Association of AI) has committed itself to transforming Germany and Europe into a leading location for artificial intelligence and machine learning. 

ITONICS joins the KI Bundesverband e. V.

Since July 2020, ITONICS is the newest member of Germany's largest AI network of entrepreneurs, start-ups, SMEs and corporates. With a focus on the development and application of AI and ML in the field of foresight and innovation, ITONICS has been an active driver of technologies based on artificial intelligence for several years.

In addition to numerous publications on the topic, ITONICS has also been working for three years on a research project on AI and machine learning in strategic foresight and innovation management funded by the BMBF and supervised by PTKA. Together with the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, the TU Braunschweig and other industry partners, the RADAR research project has created a cloud-based software solution for environmental scanning that can be used to analyze large amounts of data and to identify relevant signals, trends and technologies as well as disruptive changes in the corporate environment in real time.

A platform that speaks to economy and politics

To give initiatives such as the RADAR project a direct channel to business and politics and to promote the exchange of knowledge and experience on AI topics in Germany, 24 companies from the AI sector joined together in a network in 2018.

With more than 250 companies, the KI Bundesverband is today the largest AI entrepreneurs' network in Germany. In addition to ITONICS, the members of the network include other companies and experts in Germany whose focus is on the development and application of artificial intelligence, machine learning or deep learning. 

We look forward to working with the AI Bundesverband and its members to set the course for a sustainable AI ecosystem in Germany and Europe.
